Autumn

Autumn is the time to summer prune plant bulbs and especially add mulch and compost to your garden

I have been vigorously dead heading roses to get that once more flowery show and it has happened beautifully

Its also the time to dig up and propagate those lovely plants like ligularias geums and daylilies all those plants that you want more of but don’t want to buy ,yes ,you can dig them up then put a pair of clean secateurs through the base of the root ball pull them apart and have several new plants to put back into your garden and or give away but definitely a quick way to add more plants to your garden.
